At the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIBTT) we are responsible for the operation and administration of the country's National Insurance System (NIS) which provides protection to over 650,000 insured persons against economic and social distress caused by loss of earnings arising out of work related injuries and other contingencies.

The National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago wishes to advise all employers that a waiver is now in effect on all penalty and interest with respect to contributions outstanding as of September 16, 2011.
